The History Of Horror Movies - Tribute to Horror in Cinemas

From time to time, we see so many horror movies come and go. Spooky, haunted houses, serial killers, slashers, maniacs, mentals, sat nico and many others have been portrayed in the film. A lot of sub-genres, a lot of remakes, a lot of variations, and twisting everything that can be easily found through the ages. Yes, it& 39;s all right. But we never thought that everything came from? Or how the genre horror movies change from time to time?

For that you share the same passion about horror movies, and I would like to know the way they have been covered by Horror films, let me have the honour to be your guide. BUCKLE up, here we go.

Where It started

The year was 1922, place: German. I can say that was the birth of horror films. W Murnau began terror and fear through Nosferatu, nosferatuthe story about bloodsucking vampire. It was not the first vampire movie, as in 1896 Georges Melies made Castle Du Le diable, but Nosferatu was the first film in which we have seen vampire destroyed by sunlight. It boasted a remarkable animalistic makeup that has not been replicated, even with modern technology. Dozens of vampire films followed after that. In 1931 launched 2 legendary studio Universal horror films, Dracula with Bela Lugosi and Boris Karloff in Frankenstein. Both the film became a classic and very successful. Boris Karloff even became a legendary name in history horror films. The Mummy (1932) with a photo silent horror icon Boris Karloff in the title role, remains a classic, unforgettable with make-up and atmosphere. In 1935, the sequel to Frankenstein, The Bride of Frankenstein was made. This is no longer silent.

Psycho

During 40 & 39; s of the world at war, and he changed the gender. Horror was almost forgotten as movies and patriotic war took place. He slowly raised again about 50 & 39; s, which ruled films and musical comedy. There were good, took place at the moment, House of Wax is one example. 1960 was the time for Hitchcock to make a film memorable: Psycho. Too bad, this is the only Hitchcock film of horror, cuz then he made lots of goodies suspence exciting as the rear window, Vertigo, North by Northwest, Dial M For Murder that kinda changed the genre again. And remember, spaghetti western cinema at the end of the 60 & 39; s also had its moment.

The 70 & 39; s

This is the most creative years before movies.Unlike of Horror, horror movies got big farm, where so many variations of history and evil come in. Note there was much controversy and protests took place here. The exorcist (1973), for example showed appalling scenes that never before imagined, such as green puke to transform the face for evil. This movie was controversial Catholic Church protested when the devil that the cast-out in the film was against the code of conduct. The bright, based on the novel by Stephen King was one of the best during a 70. Later from that decade of 80 and 90, lots of films was based on his novel frightening as Carrie, Christine, of which, It is, & 39; s Cat Eye, Dream Catcher, are an example. TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE (1974) was a low-budget movie that has achieved a great result. This introduced a " slasher movie " to the world that later followed by Halloween (say hi to Michael Myers) and Friday day 13 in 80 & 39; Scream were 90 & 39; s , And so on. Omen bonechillin " is a film that can still give you nightmares with today& 39;s technology movie.Simply to make unforgettable. Amityville Horror, based on the true story was the first film that took place on the spot. The report said a lot of terrible things and bizzare were expressed by the experienced and crew on site.

The 80 & 39; s

Freddie Kruger

This is the decade of madness. All things were shown gory sadistically for viewing. cutted off body parts were seen everywhere. Nightmare on Elm Street which launched the Freddy Krueger horror hall of fame, and Jason Voorheyes slashing games Friday in the 13 are those of an example. These two had some of its sequels during the 80, along with 3 of Halloweens. And remember how Italian horror films that have a vision very sick super bloody? Count Romero and Argento for this category. This is also the time when the expanded tv horror.

The 90 & 39; s

Funny thing happened in the 90. There is a tendency to self defense and self upgrade in character horror terror they have done to people. For example Ghost, Dracula of Bram Stocker said that on the history of Count Dracula painful love to Mina, or interview with vampires that unlocked the mystery of life vampire. Scream started a new genre of teen horror films, putting an end-serial-killer-who-has made him as soon followed by that I know what you did last summer, Urban Legend, and some more. A note in 1999, an independent movie Blair Witch Project has become a major phenomenon, using a technical documentation to give us fear, tension and mental disorder. That inspired a few other films as St.Francisville experiment, Project Lamarie and television series Freaky Links.

2000 & 39; s

Ringu

Still perhaps too early to speak of horror films in the decade of 2000, but looks like Hollywood has run out of ideas. They are trying to broaden its perspective to see new ideas outside that can make new on-term vision of horror. The Ring, remake of Japanese film was his first success. Followed the eye, and some other remakes of Asian cinema. This decade seems to be driven by Japan and Korea, by doing so many horror movies with no effects or gory blood, but still tortured with success our feeling. They do not go with the standard Hollywood, they just dig everything else that was not touched yet. Thailand also is emerging as a good horror maker. Indonesian films too, with fun series of horror films every year. It also marks the decade of 2000 the decade of sequels and remakes, too, such as Halloween H2O, Freddy vs. Jason, modern version of Dracula in Bram Stocker, Dracula 2001, Halloween Resurrection, Texas A CHAINSAW MASSACRE, House of the Dead, The Amityville Horror and so on. Although the effort to combine some genres and produce something new has been ongoing. Saw for example, combine the exciting wing Hitchkock with psycho slasher, sadistic, bloody and graphic scenes. My prediction? I think this decade vai continue to do so. Hopefully in the next decade, we will see some new approach, style and way of presenting horror films. We will wait to see where the horror movies continue their path.
